Gargantuan's Super Saturday Blog - Kempton & Wolverhampton

Posted on Saturday Sep 4 7:38:00 UTC 2010

GARGANTUAN fails through the day, triumphs at night

So after getting a biggy on Thursday it was back to short priced winners for the day. Lingfield was a tricky card and it turned out that way in the end. I really did struggle in the end to gauge most of the races and it became a total write off in my eyes. Real strange days racing all round.

Then to Kempton on the night where I had 5 winners all prices were very short though as I've said before I am not keen on selecting these short priced horses but If they are going to win my hands are tied. It's unusual that I didn’t hit any big priced places or winners. But I’m back today to put that right.

In recent blogs I've started the meetings really slow; the first few races I haven't had anything better than a 2nd. I hoping to change this today and get off to a flyer.

I read the Racing Post website last week and the Pricewise guys were gloating that they tipped Bivouac to win at 7/2 at Southwell (as did I) very well done guys (you are my heroes hahaha): that really grated. Try tipping two 11/1 winners boys then you can gloat chaps hahaha, (I am not bitter or anything that they are doing that for their livelihood haha) RANT OVER.

Well back to today and we start off where we finished last night at Kempton. If I can nail 5 winners again that will do me very nicely and the first 3 races are on the box to watch as well, and then it's up to the Midlands for a night meeting at Wolves.

Again my BIG FANCIES are in the selections below in capitals. I've put all my eggs in one basket at Kempton: risky business.

Hope you guys have a great weekend's betting and hope that we bring back the big priced winners.

Happy punting people
