Monday is a GARGANTUAN write of ...............
3 non-runners, Sirocco Breeze misses the break and still finishes 2nd, Ajjaadd ran out of track as he was flying down the outside (one for next time - defo keep an eye on him as he was a ratings improver too - The Chancellor). I knew going into today it was going to be tricky; oh my days i wtas just that. I think the only positive to take out of today is that it's over haha.
It was reported that there were only 4 oncours-e bookmakers and only a handful punters to take them on. This makes me feel a bit better about the whole day as It wasn't just me that thought it would be a tricky day. The punters stayed at home and so did the Bookies.
The bookies that did turn up on course and also the major high street bookmakers were given a nice supprise when the winner of the 4.20 Wafeira trained by Henry Cecil started the day of at 11/1. Turf TV, providing the opening price of 11/1, they then admitted that the opening price should have been 11/2. Somebodys mistake has cost the bookmakers a little bit of money on a Monday what a shame (It wasn't just me how had a bad day at the office).
Back to today and we are back at Kempton: oh happy days. Just remember there's only one Monday a week thank god.
Lets see how much money I can rake back in for your bank holiday weekend.
Happy Betting Guys and Gals,
Keep the faith
