GARGANTUAN: Short priced winners, better than Gargantuan short priced losers.
I'm not keen on tipping short priced horses but if they are going to win I suppose it has to be done (I have to agree there Gargantuan - FormChecker does the same - The Chancellor). Had what I thought was an average night at Wolves on Friday. I did hit a few winners but these were pretty short priced; no good to man nor beast.
I was really impressed with one of my selctions on Friday; Captain Loui made all from the front with Neil Callan on board. He really didn't have to do much on him to earn his crust(one to watch next time aswell).
A few of the bigger priced selections really didn't run to form. The big priced winners have eluded me over the last two meetings but I'm pretty sure there will be a couple round the corner.
Right onto Monday. I remember a while back a (not to be named) trainer saying to me that the all weather racing in this country is very uncompetitive. On a certain level I have to agree but as I was going through the card at Kempton for a Monday afternoon I really did struggle with selections in a couple of races. Some really good horses on show and I have to give credit to Kempton racecourse for putting on a cracking and competitive card on a Monday afternoon.
Quite a lot of so called big guns out on show at Kempton today even our Liz (the Queen) has one of her string racing.
So let's get off to a great start to the week by backing the winners at Kempton. This week is the calm before the storm as after this week it's all go with the all weather meetings. I'll be able to spend my bank holiday weekend on Scarborough beach with my Racing Post and the pollution picking out winners ahh bliss.
Hope everyone has a cracking week.
Happy betting Guys and Gals and lets hope my selections can get you some extra spends for the bank holiday weekend.
