Garagantuan's Friday AllWeather Tipping

Posted on Friday Aug 13 8:50:00 UTC 2010
Gargantuan has seconds coming out of his ears; not a good look .........

After Friday's clean up mission at Lingfield going to plan, I took my attention to the Southwell card for Monday knowing anything short of what happened on Friday would be a let down but also it would be the inevitable.

Started off well with my first Choice been a non runner and then getting the wrong Midgley horse to place so things could only get better. After that it was a barrage of 2nd places with only one straight forecast been hit and then a 3rdplace in the last. On the lgass half full side of things I did hit Elusive Fame into 2nd at 33/1 which was a nice touch if anyone had backed it.

In between Monday and Friday’s selections I have been racing myself over in sunny Beverley as a horse I own shares in was racing. Unfortunately with us been drawn in stall one ( In the Car Park ) over 5 furlongs we never had a chance, once we had caught up with the pack the bird had already flown. What cushioned the blow was the fact it was Beverley’s most busiest day of the season ( Ladies day ) some of East Yorkshires finest females were out in full bloom which was great to see ..... ( I hope the girlfriend doesn’t read this, she was wondering why she wasn’t invited this will certainly answer her question ).

So after Monday's second place bonanza it's onward and back on the upward curve at Kempton. Kempton is similar to Lingfield if you have a decent position on that final bend and a clear run you have no excuses. I’m pretty confident that my selections will be there with a clear run come that final turn ( jockeys of selections please take note). Again there are plenty of horses racing at Kempton that are bringing their poor turf form back to the All weather in the search of that elusive win. This is the sort of thing the Gargantuan likes to expose.

Just remember we're gearing up for when the all weather starts in winter and by then we should be up and running with plenty of winners under the belt.

I’ve now done a card at Lingfield, Southwell and now Kempton. The next port of call will be a lovely little place in the Midlands called Wolverhampton. You can’t beat a night meeting at Wolverhampton under the floodlights...... Honestly!!

Keep the faith guys and let’s hope Friday 13th turns out not to be to unlucky for us.

Happy Betting
